BUYECO - Guide for Transferring Guarantees of Origin

This guide walks you through the steps for transferring Guarantees of Origin in Switzerland using the shkn.pronovo.ch registry.

1 Accessing the Guarantees of Origin Menu

Select Provide GO to start the transfer process.

2 Account Overview and Available GO

You are taken to the page Guarantees of Origin – Provide. This page displays an overview of your account.

3 Searching for the Recipient

In the section Provide Guarantees of Origin to Company, search for the recipient of the GO.

Click on the Select button on the right to choose that company.

4 Setting the Selection Criteria

On the Set Criteria page, you define the parameters of the transfer:

Production Period:

① from: select the start month (e.g., 01.2024)
② to: select the end month (e.g., 12.2024)

Click on the Next button. The system will automatically display the available GO matching your criteria.

Selection Results:

③ Click on Select All to select all available GO. The total amount appears in the right-hand column Amount (kWh).

Transfer Text:

④ Enter a reference in the Transfer Text field to identify this transfer (e.g.: "Tender No. XXX").

5 Finalising the Transfer

Confirmation:

⑤ Tick the checkbox to confirm before proceeding with the transfer.

Provide:

⑥ Once all parameters have been checked and the confirmation box is ticked, click on the Provide button at the bottom left of the page.

The system will then transfer the Guarantees of Origin to the recipient’s account (BUYECO Sàrl in this example).
